Carlos Arboleda is a founding partner at Arboleda Brechner Law Firm. Mr. Arboleda has been practicing law since 1996. His practice is dedicated to helping clients navigate and resolve debt issues, including litigation and bankruptcy.
Mr. Arboleda was born in Venezuela and speaks Spanish fluently. He received a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy from Colgate University (1990), a Masters in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University (1993), and a Juris Doctor from University of Arizona (1996).
He is licensed to practice before State and Federal Court in Arizona, Federal Courts in Colorado, and the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. However, he also represents clients in other jurisdictions on a pro hac vice basis.
He regularly teaches and writes on bankruptcy subjects and other related matters, including most recently, on the economic analysis associated with strategy default of mortgages. Representative cases for Mr. Arboleda include prosecuting a $980 million involuntary bankruptcy against an unlicensed mezzanine-lender captive to Mortgages Limited, prosecution of multiple appeals in state and federal courts, and representation of clients’ interests before trial courts.
His years of experience in both debt collection law and bankruptcy law gives him a comprehensive understanding of the issues clients are facing today. Mr. Arboleda excels at using his knowledge of bankruptcy law and debt settlement strategies to develop a custom approach for each client. He doesn’t believe in “selling” clients on bankruptcy. He provides unbiased advice and options for each client’s particular needs.
